After earning her BFA in Graphic Design, Lisa Kubenez began her career in advertising and catalog layout. It was at one of these early jobsthat she was asked to fill in while one of the in-house illustrators was awayand realized that she wanted to pursue a career in illustration.
After working for several years as an illustrator and art director in the home decor industry Lisa decided to break out on her own.
Designs by Lisa K was created, specializing in designing happy, whimsical illustrations and surface patterns.
